In in 'Items' menu - (parameter editor), what are the different options in 'class' (NORMAL - CRUCIAL)?

Thanks

Normal vs Crucial is only used to determine whether an item is alllowed to dissappear from the map.

If you recall from playing KF1 or 2, as you kill enemies that drop coins or herbs etc, if you killed enough of them without picking up the items they would eventually begin to dissappear.

Setting an item as crucial guarantees that it will not dissappear before any normal items do. ‎  I believe the number of dropped items/coin that SOM can hold is 255 or something close to that.

So if your item is require to finish the game, set it as crucial. ‎  If its an earth herb or blood stone, set it as normal.

Except this probably matters naught because SOM appears to have a bug that makes your map crash before it will start deleting any items (so you get to go pick up the mess you made)

Still might be worth setting for when we remake SOM (make a simulator) and handle that parameter correctly (and maybe just to be safe as well)

It's always possible we might discover how dropped items are kept up within the save file / manage to devise some manner of garbage collector. Not a super high priority in itself, though bugs in general are a concern I think we all share.

PS: Has anyone ever observed this disappearing of items unaccompanied by map failure?

Again thanks, it was bugging me.
