Oh man, I wish I had this sooner.
I decided to make my in game maps by basically screen shotting and pasting together sections of the map editor. With this tool it would be far easier to do this...I could probably get the map copied in about 5 screenshots rather than 20. That is the first major improvement I like about this.
John this is really good stuff. I was testing this mainly on 1280 x 1024 and I must say even with a non-wide screen style setup its totally worth it. At work I have a dual monitor setup and this application could probably make it able to see the whole map across at once. It is nice to be able to see the whole section across to make sure you are 'centering' a piece or at least know where the center of the map should be without having to actually look for 49,49 on the grid.
