Bugs Still in Game!

Thank you for the kind words Holy.

Coffee...I will address all of these in the patch that is coming out tonight...make sure everyone goes to 1.06.

There will be one bug in v1.06 if you have save game data for the earth cave that I can't get around..I changed the map a bit and already placed objects in your save game won't move.

Unfortunately there is nothing I can do to retroactively fix the nonworking-mage chest etc, but new game saves will not experience this problem.

amazing...they managed to take FF and make it even more generic. ‎  Now everyone wears the same clothes...Im going to go ahead and assume, as usual, they wont bother making armor pieces so they wont have to model armor graphics on the characters.

Weapon and accessory slots only is such a cop out.

Generic? I just thought it was the epitome of bad (and insipid) taste... I guess XIII won't be reviving the respectability of this long lost franchise... my how it's fallen (poster-child for wasted money and time)

I was able to understand, that the problem is included in save data.
I start DD from new game with pleasure again,
and recommend it to Japanese players.

But I have a problem, DD V1.0.6 does not start.
The same report is given from other person, too.

I checked it about the problem with several patterns.

V1.0.3(Full) = OK
V1.0.3(Full) + V1.0.4(Patch) = OK
V1.0.3(Full) + V1.0.4(Patch) + V1.0.5(Patch) = OK
V1.0.3(Full) + V1.0.4(Patch) + V1.0.5(Patch) + V1.0.6(Patch) = NG
V1.0.3(Full) + V1.0.5(Patch) = OK
V1.0.3(Full) + V1.0.5(Patch) + V1.0.6(Patch) = NG
V1.0.3(Full) + V1.0.6(Patch) = NG
V1.0.6(Full) = NG

Then I checked all files one by one in V1.0.6(Patch),
and found the problem is included in PARAM\ENEMY.PR2(JAN,17,2010,23:29).
No problem in other files.
I replaced ENEMY.PR2, V1.06(JAN,17,2010,23:29) to V1.05(JAN,3,2010,11:40).
DD started successful.

V1.0.6(Full) + PARAM\ENEMY.PR2(JAN,3,2010,11:40) = OK

ENEMY.PR2 is the file as which the strength of the enemy characters is set apparently.
I don't know why that prevents a start,
and whether there is cause of the problem in Japanese OS.

My PC Environments, FYI
Type: Desktop
System OS: Windows XP pro SP2 Japanese
Processor: Pentium 4 / 2.2GHz
RAM: 1GB
VGA: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 / 128MB
Sound: Intel 82801BA/BAM AC'97 Audio Controller

The files were broken unfortunately.

The 1.0.6 patch has been fixed and you can download it now.

The full game 1.0.6 download is not finished uploading yet.

OK found the problem...the issue was the enemy.pr2 was referencing an enemy texture that wasnt added to the patch.

please download it again, and add everything from the enemy/texture directory to your own and see if it works:)

When I woke up, that had completed a download of New V1.0.6(Full).

Result:
* V1.0.3(Full) + New V1.0.6(Patch) = NG
* Previous V1.0.6(Full) + New V1.0.6(Patch) = NG
* New V1.0.6(Full) = OK

DD started successful!

I checked the difference between [Previous V1.0.6(Full) + New V1.0.6(Patch)] and [New V1.0.6(Full)].
Both had many differences.
I summarized the details in the following file. (Excel2003)
