Nasty capra demon kept killing me 
, so after smashing its demons i lured it up the stairs. When it fell down i used the plunge attack 
(r1 on the ps3) jumping off the ledge to deal nasty damage back. I'm way further now, just wanted to add this tip incase anyone else was stuck.
