I own it and was recently wondering how much my PS1 copy could fetch on eBay, as it seems rare.
I recall this being unplayable. 6 playable unique characters, hex system, monsters with graduating paths, turn based strat game has just about everything I could ask for, and yet once I put it down I never considered ever trying it again.
The one thing I recall was trying to forge my two best units, and getting a slime which is a useless blob. Once I have to consult a guide to start doing ideal combos, I lose interest. This is why I lost interest in Persona and getting demon cards and creating endless combos to create a new Persona, 75% of which will absolutely suck.
