Using a different font shouldnt be a problem, there is a section of the final game.exe that allows you to manipulate which font(s) the game looks for to display in game. One of the members here (hwitvlf) created a custom exe that looks for an "SOM.TTF" file. So really the best way to get your font in game is likely to use this .exe and just create a copy of whatever font you want to use and have it install as SOM.ttf font.
Now Im not an expert as to writing the game in a different language, but Holydiver has a tool for that as well. I dont know if it would be best to get it in english first then convert to another language or write it from the start in Georgian...the reason being, I dont know how to modify the actual SOM editor to use a foreign language.
