Heroes and Castles

This is an android/ios game that (strangely/hilariously enough) reminds me of a mix between King's Field and Serious Sam.
I've had quite a bit of fun playing this already.

At its foundation, its a "protect the castle" game with a generous portion of the strategy elements replaced with Action RPG elements.

Wow! Serious Sam and KF is quite a dissimilar mix, but I get a hint of it in that video. ‎  I've played several "tower defense" type games and almost liked them. It just seemed like the levels were too choreographed- maybe this game is a variation on that theme which fixes that issue. Being able to participate in the defense directly would add more variety and strategy.
