Skybox Issues

#1
I'm making an outdoor map, and for some reason there's a thick gray line that appears at the base of the skybox, which is making the map look terrible because of it's low draw distance. I'm assuming it's the fog line, is there any way to turn it off, or at least turn it black?

I have fog set to 0 for all three colors, which should be black right?

That "horizon haze" is not adjusted by the fog setting, but is a texture drawn on the sky-dome model. They are the sky##_2.bmps in DATA\MAP\MODEL. If you want it to go away, you can replace it with a solid black, but I don't think that will help what you're seeing in the screenshot. ‎  I think you need to increase your draw distance (Map Setting > Draw Distance). You can also customize the sky-dome's main texture by replacing sky##_1.bmp to make it match your ground better.

With outdoor maps, I think it works best to turn fog on and add some clutter to break up the horizon.

If you would like MT I can send you a custom skybox ideal for what you are trying to create. I will send it next week.

@HwitVlf
Made the texture black and that fixed it, thanks for the help!

@Verdite
Thanks for the offer. I've managed to remove the fog, but I could use some black fog if you think you can make it. Smile
