Some KF2(US) questions

Ok I've got my stats (with nothing equiped) and they are:

power: 84 ‎  wisdom: 5
Holy/light: 105
fire: 73
earth: 52
wind: 65
water: 48

Lord Veyrac dies after you go to the hill of prayer right? Well I went to the hill of prayer (after making another save) got the first key of the corridor and the broken moonlight sword. I then went back to Cason to see his grave and he was still there! I talked to him and still he won't teach me the sword magics. Now the real question is: Did I miss something or is my disc too scrached up. (Its still in good condition but one scrach in the wrong spot could mess things up)

Hmm, its definitely not your disc.

There must be more to his magic teaching/dieing than I know of...I thought for sure once you went to the castle area and back he was toast.

I am curious, have you had leon make the Ichrius key yet?

Thats the only thing I can think of around that point of the game that might affect the game's story line.

Oh and what level are you? ‎  Are you above 35?

I learned the sword magics for Veyrac yesterday. I learned it AFTER I got the moonlight sword repaired. I did gain a lvl when I was there. I was lvl 34 when I posted my stats. (I can't beleave I forgot to say my lvl!) I think you need to be lvl 35 to learn the sword magics. I bet he dosen't die until after you learn the sword magics. By the way, I did have all the important items( Ichrius' armor, Ichrius' key and Fairy fossil) at the time when I tried to get him to teach me. It don't matter now that I'm at the end of the game, but it's still worth it to say I've done it.

Now lets see how long it takes me to learn sword magics from Alexander... anyone know the requirements for him?

I think level 35 was the key...lessee alexander. ‎  You can only talk to him once if I am not mistaken, so I assume as long as you have the appropriate stats and level (which I think you do now) he should teach them. ‎  Hopefully you did not use lyn's ring on em too early, i think you only get one stab at it.

Yeah, I used the ring too early. But at least I finally beat the game with the moonlight sword repaired.

I have everything above these stats and he doesn't teach me.
Maybe you need to have moonlight sword repaired.
I don't know, when I use my pattern of playing this game he teaches me without problem :)

I believe your strength and intelligence stats have something to do with this. ‎  I vaguely remember strength of 50 having some role to play in this business. ‎  (KF1 US required strength of 60 to use sword magics, right?)
