I know this two too bro beerchug
I'm really looking for a game that has this unique feature of wizardry 7 "random npc/boss roaming around to compete with you"

Review 1:Wizardry 7 - My favorite of the Wizardries, You have up 6 characters to play and several classes like ninja, samurai, knight, paladin, valkyrie(if you are female),psionic, thief, bard, monk, ranger and others and races like human, faerie, dwarf, hobbit, lizard, felpur, draco and others. ‎  It introduced sci-fi and alien races into the game, NPCs started roaming around the world and competing with you to find maps that led to the planet's great treasure, and there are tons of alliances to make and break, items to find and enemies to fight. A lot of the battles, especially the boss battles, required quite a bit of strategy, too. You can for example had the bad or good luck to find in the first 5 minutes of game a npc roaming and you can try negotiate with him or be friendly or he can just hate you and fight with you or just ignore you and leave.

There are many other races on the planet as well, like the Umpanie, T'Rang, dane, gorn, helazoids, giants, humans, munks, savants and Ratkin. One of the revolutionary innovations of this title was that the game is always progressing. As you play, some of the other NPC's will trade with each other, team up, or even kill each other. For example, if you are told to go find a npc called D'Rang T'rang and get a map from him, but then ask someone where to find him, they might tell you he was killed by someone else if you didn't find him fast enough. But now how will you get that map? Well, you'll have to find who killed him, and ''take'' the map from them.
For instance, if your party needs to swim accross a river, and one person can't swim, then he'll drown and the same to climb mountains. So you have to plan on where you'll be going and get the levels and up skills you need in advance. The game can get quite difficult as well, sometimed pitting you against 8 or more enemies. You can change dificult during the game easy-normal-hard. Hard is good to grind since you can find diferents and harder monsters. Somes can even call for help.
You can ‎  choose what npcs you want to be your ally. ‎  You can change classes during the game coming back to lv 1 and keeping some skills. Almost at the end of the game you can enter in the halls of gorror to fight some special monsters if you feel strong enough. Want to meet the Fiend of 9 worlds (1299 hitpoints), the Thing from Hell (6698 hitpoints), horror of re-sep-re-tep, Demon Horragoth, Spirit of D'Arboleth or beast of a thousand eyes, Well, this is your chance.

review 3:Overall: 9
This game is a seminal work of the RPG world, and introduced this great concept of NPC competition with the player in the game world. I would suggest that all Western RPG fans at least try it out. This is a old rpg but is very ahead our time and there's no other rpgs with uniques features like this one.

review 4: Lots of magic and skill to all diferents classes. Huge map. Some classes can summon lots os diferents monsters. You can fizzle spells if you don't have enough intelligent and piety bonus points spent. Lot's weapons and armors. Every time you check the shop the npc has diferents items.
If you don't have enough points in skill to recognise enemys. When you find a enemy he go have a commum name ex: Vulture that in fact can be a very hard enemy like "vampire vulture or fire bird"

It's like final fantasy 7
Old game with unique features ‎  and far ahead our time
