I think I've had this problem before. Have you tried to compile each map before you do the testing?(or export or whatever it was. it was renamed and its confusing me lol) I'm pretty sure that's what the problem was.
Yeah, I'm still around. I haven't much to say anymore however I do lurk around here.

its likely to do with an event or an oversized map (som is restrictive memory wise) some events may have something thats not quite connecting, so look them over, or better yet ill help you check them, are they in the file i downloaded? game data etc?

here is the link to the version that does it. if you could check for me that would save me a hell of a lot of work. it does it in the very last room of the game that is towards the south east in the map editor with the the two mages.
okay here is the link https://speedy.sh/j3ejM/Cursed-Dungeon.zip
, please note: i have tried reinstalling, game still crashes upon warping, moving the install to a new computer, still crashes, remaking the event, it still crashes and making a different map to warp to it still crashes, and even if i make two very small maps with a single square room to warp between it would still crash however: once i did a fresh install of som on a different comp it worked when i made a new map and tested an npc warping me to a different map.. maybe you are right and i need to make a bunch of individual maps instead of bigger ones.

I ran into this very problem while making Trismegistus. ...and at this time, I had a map FULL of items and objects.
I started taking pieces out and found the culprit. An item placed on the map. It was so weird because there was nothing significant about the item's placement, and there were many copies of it on the map that didn't cause a problem. ...yet there it was... that one item placed where it was caused my crash. I eliminated the problem when I stopped placing items themselves on the map. They're best reserved in chests and menus anyway. |
