Looking at some TOP websites, most are 1024x768......very few these days seem to be 800x600 but just to let you see the difference I have created a guide. This shows where the HOMEPAGE is currently residing as far as resolution and aspect ratio go....
Also, it is feasible to create some sort of repeating banner at the top...if you want. There is a Motif here currently.....basically the Moonlight Sword and the 4 HTML LINKS

With some tweaking of the Banner, and conforming all the images to the same size, and Moving the Pillers of Information....(thats what I call them) we can start to obey some rules of composition. Mainly the rule of thirds (looks like a tic-tac-toe board) Also for a Motif to work you must have a pattern emerge 3 times....ie The 4 Links and the Moonlight Sword. These are basic artistic rules that seems to be obeyed on a lot of websites, correct me if I am wrong....:) I sometimes get it all confused...
Circled in RED are the 4 LINKS, this should be on the page 3 times, for ergonomics and motif reasons I guess.....the WHITE lines represent the rule of thirds (tic-tac-toe board)
Also, something can be done with the sword.....maybe something I posted 2 posts ago.....
I think there is a great foundation here....

Uh....yeah very quickly.....could look cool.....I will continue with samples if you like...
I think a big SWORD, cleaner LINKS (FORUM ADD-ONS GAMES LINKS) and should be
in a couple spots....
There should be a couple Moonlight swords....and a silhouette banner of graves or castles in the BG :)
And room for text obviously....and the page would be scrollable downwards for quite a bit.....

John all your suggestions are great ones...there is one problem...I dont know a lick of html :)
The pages I made are completely done via frontpage...but, I wouldnt be opposed to learning html to better the site.
I will make a post listing things that have been requested to fix, and I will work on learning those things. If you happen to know how to fix anything that shows up on the list and could email me some coding or tweak the html files that would be sweet too.
