As you probably know, the arm MDL is the 'my' folder. It has 3 animation sequences built in. The weapon's prf chooses which animation is played during an attack. It's possible a fourth 'ranged weapon' animation sequence could be added in a new arm MDL, but the ‎  player's 'weapon damage zone' isn't currently set up for tracking a projectile so making a normal looking ranged weapon will take some work. ‎  I had an idea for adding a ranged weapon as a spell animation, but it didn't work out.

I know the arm I made doesn't show up in game, so I never bothered to make it line up. SoM's arm seems to be handled differently than other MDLs so I'm not sure what's going on there. Mick might have an idea whats going on- not sure.

Thankfully the item prf controls the distance a weapon will hit to, so it may be clunky but i could foresee a bow weapon animated and having a super long hit range.
