Know any SoM models with holes in their texture? - HwitVlf - 2009-11-24

For anyone who doesn't know, SoM renders textures that are dark black as invisible so
some of the models that came with the SoM appear to have holes in them (where pixels are too dark).
If anyone knows of a model with holes in it, please post so I can fix it in the next translation update.

Also, if you know of any Enemy models with a mis-colored strip down the center (caused by a misaligned texture) please say so I can fix them too. Example below.

Now that I've looked into it more, I'm pretty sure all the NPC and enemy models have a misaligned textures. They are off by one pixel (low and to the right); the effects just don't show on some models. Maybe Fromsoft's conversion process had a mathematical flaw.

It will take awhile to fix all the models by hand; maybe I can figure a way to automate the process. Each fix doesn't make a huge difference by itself, but all together they help increases the general feeling quality and immersion.

The dragon has alot of holes as well as the pier where the ground is. sometimes it really screw's up the graphic ambiance of the map. nice to see someone fixing these things!
