Return of Eric :) and Cursed Dungeon - eric - 2012-11-25

Hey guys after a long hiatus and some family problems and just lost of interest in the project I am back!
I can safely say I will be, although quietly, working my project again. Also, I would like to thank Verdite for all his graphics he helped me with, the lava and crystal shards and ice and sword graphics work great!

Fantastic news, oh how I long for a bit of SOM goodness. ‎  Anyone going to have something ready for my Christmas break? Biggrin

Where are all the developers we all gave up time to help........ Block

Re: Return of Eric :) and Cursed Dungeon - dmpdesign - 2012-12-17

Hopefully not giving up....its definitely a long hard road to get a completed SOM game, kudos to those out there still busting their humps to get it done. ‎  I am kinda curious though, I wonder if I did a yearly email to the folks on the mailing list if a few folks would come out of the woodwork and at least give us a wave to let us know they are still working on a game.

You know it really does astound me, SoM helped me get started on making games from a hobby to a living, and the most important lesson it had to offer was to not give up even when it gets hard. ‎  For any of you out there that are still working on your projects but not posting, stick with it please, if not for diehard fans then for yourselves. ‎  Patience and persistence are valuable assets, you won't be disappointed when you finish your game. ‎

I am also curious how many members here visit som.net or how many members he may have that have never visited here that may be working on games?
