The button config problem - dmpdesign - 2009-09-19
Because I cant remember and I have been asked, can someone post the exact fix for the pad configuration that can be implemented into the game.exe please. Id like to keep bugs and bug fixes in this section of the forum and ill be damned if i can find the email or post that describes the fix.

There are at least two broken buttons in the config which can apparently be fixed with text substitution. However they don't fix the problem I have where the first button in the config menu always reverts back to what appears to be a non-button (the name of the supposed button is actually the "normal" status string -- which happens to be the next string in the text segment after the button function/names (does anyone else have this problem?)
I think on the heels of a DD launch we should buckle down and try to fix all the control pad config bugs, because it's just not a proper game as long as a bug like that is there. I know I'd love to see them all go away.
