BERSERKER: Kyousenshi Densetsu - lurkerj - 2019-02-25 One Japanese Sword of Moonlight translated, two more to go. This one is a very short & simple dungeon romp, beatable in ~30 minutes or less, but hey, it's good to find stuff that came out of it. Game: https://www.legendsworld.net/adventure/game/21039 Translation patch: https://www.zophar.net/translations/pc/english/berserker-kyousenshi-densetsu.html A lot of text for the exe was lifted from the generic SoM exe, but it appears the guy who wrote the credits forgot to mention that. Re: BERSERKER: Kyousenshi Densetsu - Holy_Diver - 2019-02-25 You can convert the games to use this (https://www.patreon.com/posts/kings-field-ii-23273769) player to look better and work with current systems with high/steady frame rate. And it has a proper translation system in the SOM_MAIN program: \<span> site blocked, contact your administrator/ex/diy/ It would be doing everyone a favor to upgrade these games. I've never heard of this one. What other two? Re: BERSERKER: Kyousenshi Densetsu - lurkerj - 2019-03-13 Angel Tower and Grande Croce. These are translated by others right now. https://terminus.nce.buttobi.net/angel.html https://terminus.nce.buttobi.net/croce.html Re: BERSERKER: Kyousenshi Densetsu - Holy_Diver - 2019-03-13 Quote:403 Forbidden Re: BERSERKER: Kyousenshi Densetsu - lurkerj - 2019-03-25 Try this: https://terminus.nce.buttobi.net/game.html Re: BERSERKER: Kyousenshi Densetsu - Holy_Diver - 2019-03-26 (2019-03-25, 05:13 PM)lurkerj link Wrote: Try this: https://terminus.nce.buttobi.net/game.html Same 403 page. Maybe you should try posting instructions on how to navigate to your pages from the top of the website. I think the site has a hot-linking system set up, that makes it so you cannot visit it via a link. If the page is refreshed in the Firefox browser it works. But this is not guaranteed to wipe the "referrer" field in the HTTP request. Copy pasting into an empty browser tab seems to work for this link. Normally websites do this for images, to make it so there is less bandwidth. But usually it doesn't apply to links that are just opened into a browser, or to webpage links. I think this website is not a good one to use for linking to. P.S. Are these the original games? I thought you were posting English versions you've prepared. I have some tools for dumping game text. I imagine it's difficult to translate games without having access to their project files for the SOM editor. The same text (gettext format) can then be used to translate with \<span> site blocked, contact your administrator/ex/diy/. There is a graphical tool as well, built into SOM. Re: BERSERKER: Kyousenshi Densetsu - dmpdesign - 2019-03-26 https://terminus.nce.buttobi.net/game.html works for me Re: BERSERKER: Kyousenshi Densetsu - Holy_Diver - 2019-04-01 (2019-03-26, 04:21 AM)dmpdesign link Wrote: https://terminus.nce.buttobi.net/game.html works for me You know, you're not replying to my email or Patreon messages, about how you said you were going to write, and never did. Just FYI, I'm running into website problems this summer, and I may need you to host my files for a little while, because I don't feel comfortable putting them someplace like GitHub because they are copies of From Software's commercial product. Sorry to butt in; Off topic. P.S. I had a great idea for adding volume to water or just transparent materials. It's now possible to put transparent elements in the level geometry, so it's practical to be thinking about it. And swimming comes after that. It's going to be in the next release, in the next month or so I think. I've also heard about Moratheia last week, and I'm hoping it will add some water, and multi-layer elements. Also, I was given a Nolo kit, that arrived yesterday on my birthday, just by coincidence. I'm already rethinking how SOM will work in VR with hand controllers. It's totally different, but probably (I think) a better experience than a traditional controller, with or without VR. Sorry to dump this here again. |
