King's Field 4's Ocean Shore = Majula?

[Minor Dark Souls II spoiler alert]

Found this area in King's Field 4 that looks an awful lot like a night version of Majula in Dark Souls II, it even has a similar soundtrack.

A tower and dock landmark, just like in Majula.

As seen in Dark Souls II...

It's neat seeing inspiration taken from the King's Field series and finding it in Dark Souls. Let's not forget, in both New Londo and the Ancient City we've learned the best way to stop an evil is to flood the place in massive amounts of water and wait for someone else to deal with the problem. ‎  Razz

For me, its reassuring that the art direction is still KF style. Its also possible that existing KF artists are working on DS2 which is awesome.

It seems like a few of those swords were taken from Majula? Ninja

Wow that video was interesting to watch.

The beach level reminds me of the beginning of KFIII actually

And those "dragon" Things remind me of the dragon creatures in Crown of the Sunken King

A lot

I would say some of the old crew are still around on the new team, there is no doubt that the Dark Souls series still screams From Software style.

That ocean area is one of my favorite parts of KF4 - I always liked how much they used vertical space as much as horizontal to build that area of caves etc.
