Key Bindings for King's Field

So I have downloaded the translated King's Field from here and I am trying to figure out how to change the control scheme. From what I have seen there is no obvious solution, so can the game be reconfigured at all? I might just be overlooking something but I'm at a loss.

Numpad = Movement
Space = Examine
Shift = Attack
Control = Magic
Tab = Menu

They're hard-coded and can't be rebound.

It's best to use a gamepad though, since it's easier to control with, and it's rebindable. Just be sure to plug it in BEFORE launching any SOM game.

You could also grab the ps1 version and emulate it so you can use a controller. I just finished it and it was a ton of fun. Took like 12 hours If I would have known what I was doing I probably could have beaten it in 5-6.
