JDO SOM patch....

#1
Hey Weissvulf, just wanted to say, can't wait for your patch for SOM, I am looking forward to ditching the download installer I have because it is so packed with pitiful customs I made and I would prefer to get the download back to the original with all the proper fixes you are implementing.

What is the time frame on the patch, can I do anything to help?

I'll work on the patch today. I keep finding new little things I want to tweak, but I should probably just get it released and save more tweaks for the future. I just have to change/add some text in a few places and compile the installer.

If you do a a little free time, there is something you could do to help. A few of the NPC models have their 'talked to from left/right' animations switched. It makes them turn away from the player when talked to. I wanted to try to fix that; if you could test which models are switched (both standing/sitting), I could be working on other aspects of the patch.

I ran out of other things to do on the patch, so I checked the files myself. Hope you didn't spend any effort yet Todd.

The following models were reversed and will be fixed in the v1.2 update (almost more than were correct! Confused)

Dwarf (1)
Dwarf (2)
Elf (1)
Elf (2)
Elf (3)
Elf (4)
Magician (1) (White)
Magician (3) (Red)
Magician (4) (Orange)
Magician (5) (Yellow Green)
Magician (6) (Blue)
Old Woman (1)
Old Woman (2)
Priest (2)
Woman (1)
Woman (2)
Woman (3)
Woman (4)
Warrior (4)
Warrior (5) ‎
Warrior (A)

That should be it for the new patch- other than compiling the installer. That's going to take a little effort because the update will include multiple versions of the new Map Editor. But it should be ready soon.

I was compiling the patch installer and thought it would be funny to make the 'installation progress' window a joke ‎  Dancev(see pic).
Ha ha hee hee . . .
My wife assured me it wasn't funny so I guess I'll be good (and boring) and make it right ‎  ‎  Saint
