Gold Key

Does anyone know if there is a place to FIND the gold key in King's Field II(JP)/King's Field I(US)?

To my knowledge, the only place to get it is to buy it from Mark Wozz.... ‎  close to Leon's shop on the south shore type thing deal stuff.

If you had asked me a year ago when I was working on my KF walkthrough I coulda told you for sure, but I think what you have is accurate.

If it is anywhere in the game it would be on the corpse in the east village where you have to drop down off the bridge to reach it...but I think that is the magician's key actually.

I'm almost positive I found one somewhere... but then again it's been a while since I've played it through. ‎ My PS2 died, so I'll have to wait for the new one to come before I can search for it. ‎ I'll let you know if I can find it!

I think I would remember being forced to buy a key. I think Todd makes you buy a key in DD so maybe that was an homage to that. It would not be un-KF-like to do so. But still I think I would remember.

There are 2 Magician's keys in KF2

1 is in the Shudom's Cave where a giant skeleton throws a rock off a cliff (inside the crypt).
The other one is on the shore of Lake Noel.
It is lying on the ground. When you come up to the lake from Poison Path, go right and it's at the first corner.
