I was searching for "King's Field IV" this morning, and I found this image result --



Dunno if anyone has found this before, but it looks like the area where the girl with the first fire crystal is, but who's the guy by the gate? He isn't normally there if I'm not mistaken...

Another here, what are these?



This last one actually looks like a totally new area... Any information, am I just being stupid?

It's been a while since I played, but I don't remember the NPC being there. The spiral staircase looks vaguely familiar, but it's just been too long for me to be sure. Where are these screens from?

Not exactly sure, I just did a Google search for King's Field, so I could find some images to create a desktop background...

There weren't too many "home made" screen shots for PS2 games in KF4's era so it's likely those screens came from From Software. They have a history of releasing "beta" screen shots so I'd say there's a good chance those scenes aren't from the final game. ‎  A couple of the screen shots in the KF(Jap) manual are not from the final game. Interesting!

Played through KFTAC again back in March/April and it doesn't look familiar to me. Interesting though.

Never had the Dark Defiler til this latest time through either so I got excited when it finally dropped off the skull. it was half stuck in a gravestone though so the screenshots I made of it on the ground could have been better. I thought about making one for SOM ‎

I dont recall that dude standing there either, I will have to give this a playthrough again and see if I can find the area in question in the second shot...neat find!
