I'm thinking like DIY, indie, independent... I don't know how important this stuff is, but it's always fun to see what websites think of themselves.
Crawlers like Google give minimal attention to keywords if there is significant information on a given page, which is nice, because customizing the keyword list on a page by page basis is kind of a pain, plus there is always the conundrum of whether the per page words have priority over the holistic words or what. In hindsight I suppose there should be meta tags for page-keywords and site-keywords. Maybe there is and I'm just unaware.
Anyway, whenever a description rears it's head I will add it this stuff along with a medley of generic words to all the pages under som.com.
Edited: for the Wordpress website I will add a provision for adding keywords to pages/posts per the author's request. Priority wise they'll just be tacked on to the front of the list.
