I just found this sitting on my harddrive... and I thought I'd looked in every single folder/file way back when 
Chapter 2 straight up documents every one of the the 3D file formats. As near as I can tell nothing is left out. It even covers formats I was unaware of, PMD and HMD (thought this was more of an umbrella term)
Until finding this it seemed as if Sony was trying to keep developers in the dark as much as possible about these binary formats.
I can't believe no one has put this document to good use in all of these years. We have emulators but no tools to completely rip the hell out of PSOne games
I think it's time someone put an end to that
