Did they ever get the recompiler stuff going? I think unless something radical is done like recompiling the games themselves emulating the PS2 on a PC is still a lot of energy/heat for not much. I wonder if the PS3 is any better though architecture/technology wise... I wish PS2 games would go up on the PSN. Even big ones are only a few hundred MBs compressed.
