Collaborative Development

I think collaborating on a project will yield the best results. ‎  I'm far from being a "jack of all trades", and am little more than an above average musician with a knack for level design.

Like all teams, if you want a decent job done, you're going to have to hire someone. ‎
Money can come later - start with a contract.
Demanding free handouts will yield you leftovers at best.

I don't understand how you're wanting to take these new and innovative approaches to this "game" yet, basically hash it as a perfect version of DoM?
DoM is what it is because it has originality. ‎  I'm sure you know, it's really hard to be innovative without originality.

You should make something of your own. ‎  Yeah, DOMPerfect will be good for shits and giggles, but your best bet at game quality would be your own game/story/etc. rather than leeching off someone else.

My opinion, you need to probably get into a different program than SoM. ‎
There's damn good reasons why it's been completely abandoned. ‎

Maybe you could go to darkbasic.com ?

....or leave your Xavier chair and go play outside for a little while? ‎  For a change?
