over 16 thousand copies sold in the first day, its an xbox indie game record :)
some interesting info:
an average xbox indie game gets 5-10% conversion rate from people who download the trial game and then buy it...pretty low, but thats the statistic.
really good games see between 10-15%.
The current best selling game on there was at 28% conversion and has sold 50k copies in about 2 years time.
Friday, our game launched, had just over 20,000 trials, and an 83% conversion rate, and we sold just a hair over 16,000 copies. so its pretty much smashing records :)
maybe if Im lucky Microsoft will kick it up to an xbox arcade game instead of an indie and we can get a following. I would foresee a KF style rpg being made by myself for the xbox in the future if thats the case ;)
