I will pop an email over to john this week and get a proper newest translation auto installer on the site, and I will start uploading more of the unofficial addons into that section too.
Id like to keep the installer down to the minimum from software only assets as right now i believe it has a bunch of junk i did.
I think I may create a subversion for addons if people want to update their files to a 'complete' set..this of course have to seperate map parts into some non installed directory as to not overwrite anything. I know mick had talked about doing this, but I dont know if he ever got around to doing it.
What I have in mind (John hopefully youre reading this) is getting the basic set you use for 1.2 on the sites installation page, then having a subversion download for people to check in and get the latest addons that I will host, knowing that they will have to back up any personal files that may be similarly named so as not to cause conflicts...though I think I would for most purposes have two seperate repositories set up...one that will update your SOM files and one that will download addons into a seperate folder so you can manage which you install.
This brings up the idea that I would also like to host addons in some sensible 'pack' setup.
Any ideas guys?
