Greetings eric, welcome to the forum!

Holy Diver made a program called SomEx to fix alot of bugs in SoM including the SE not playing as it should. Hes improved alot of important things, head on over to www.swordofmoonlight.net to have a look if you like, if you need help setting up SomEx id be happy to help if you really want to make a game.
