Hopefully not giving up....its definitely a long hard road to get a completed SOM game, kudos to those out there still busting their humps to get it done. I am kinda curious though, I wonder if I did a yearly email to the folks on the mailing list if a few folks would come out of the woodwork and at least give us a wave to let us know they are still working on a game.
You know it really does astound me, SoM helped me get started on making games from a hobby to a living, and the most important lesson it had to offer was to not give up even when it gets hard. For any of you out there that are still working on your projects but not posting, stick with it please, if not for diehard fans then for yourselves. Patience and persistence are valuable assets, you won't be disappointed when you finish your game.
I am also curious how many members here visit som.net or how many members he may have that have never visited here that may be working on games?
