I agree with Guyra. both are good depending. No-roof gives the feeling of being in a large magnificent cavern, whereas a low roof makes me feel trapped and claustrophobic. So it all depends on what feel you are going for. ‎  You could use both to make a nice contrasting gameplay experience. The Tomb Raider series used that contrast effectively. I always had a sigh of relief when I got out out of the tunnel mazes and into a big open cavern . . . at least until I the T-Rex ate me ‎  Sweatdrop
