I've looked into patenting some stuff before, though I suppose never copyrighting. Patenting stuff started at over 1200$ and that was the special service to individual (rogue) inventors. As far as I know, online, just slapping copyright on the pages is generally considered as good as gold. For recordings though I suppose it's important to go the extra length. I think you might need a p in a circle (p) for recordings. Not sure why?? Let's see...

Not sure myself exactly what qualifies as a "recording" there?? I'm thinking the ? is only needed for individual media
