I recommend you have a controller for PC

Seconded. Totally recommend it. You can 'fool' the Dark Souls system by selecting 'xbox controller' in motioninjoy, and plugging in a DS3. PC Dark Souls doesnt accept DS3 controllers otherwise AFAIK.
