Anyone heard from John?

He hasnt been on this site since January, nor on the agetec board since last december.

The last update on his personal site was the 14th.

I know he had a few projects close to completion that he had been keeping in touch with me on up to that point but I havent heard a word since the end of january.

I am just curious if anyone has talked to him, I want to be sure he is ok.

I am probably going to snail mail him something this week, to find out if something bad happened over the winter or if hes just burned out being online.

I haven't heard from John since the end of January.
I miss him.

We'd e-mailed each other regularly for about a year and a-half, until this year. ‎  I thought it was great.

I made a PNG of my e-mails from John, from one account. ‎ I have a smaller collection on my yahoo mail.

I wonder where the hell he is?

I think something happened. ‎ We were e-mailing quite regularly for YEARS, and he's completely disappeared.

Maybe that cultish community of his found out about his internet ways and locked him in a dungeon... Todd has an address, but I'd recommend Google stalking before you head out on a project rescue road trip

I sent him a hand written letter via snail mail not long ago..it should be in his hands by now.

If he does not respond to it, I am going to have to assume something has happened to the guy, which would be very sad indeed.

Kind of odd...the latest date I can see him active is 1-31-2010 anywhere that he used to hang out..also the last day i got an email from him.

Check this out...below is a picture from a site he had been active in for years, trading stuff etc and had a paid for subscription since like 2006...it went inactive last month.

The last two e-mails I got from him, he talked about working on SoM models, and even his game.

If anyone looked at that ridiculously huge PNG I posted, 1/31/10 was the last day I got an e-mail from him.

Looking at the big picture, he's been gone, literally, for two months. ‎  That's not THAT bizarre.

Maybe he found himself a job/girl/saw the light. I hope his Som hard-copy is safe


PS: I'm going to assume "Occasionally" wouldn't fit in that field (let's remember JDO as the perfect being he was)

PPS: I'm not sure how things work with his translation website host, but it's probably not a bad idea for someone to try to save that website to disk in case it ever goes down. Did he ever release anything of his work with Abyss?

Roger that, I have compiled all the downloadable content from his site and stored it, though I think it was all available here in one form or another anyways?

STA as far as I know was never released, not even partially.

Also he never completed SOM v.2 which he had talked about a bit.
