From Software's Next-Gen Title "Project Beast" - Leaked?

Apparently some screenshots of Fromsoft's next game, Project Beast, were leaked today. From what I can tell it definitely looks like a very Souls-ish game, and the horror-vibe they seem to be going for is quite interesting. What makes me happy more than anything though, is that the game is (allegedly) being directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki. Especially after how dissapointing Dark Souls 2 was, it's good to see that he's back on board.

My guess is that it'll be officially revealed at this year's E3, and hey, maybe this will give people a reason to buy a PS4!

This would give me reason to buy a PS4, but I've yet to get a PS3... and PS4 is still damn expensive! I envy people who can buy launch day titles...

Those screens look cool, but sure don't look like PS4 hardware is being used. ‎  I would say that is PS3 tech being demo'd in those shots.

I'm really not sure about this. The quality of From's games just isnt there. It seems way too vague, and that image of the dog looks like its had the figure photoshopped in twice - just look at the figures proportions and pose in each screen. Exactly the same...

When did From stamp their name on screenshots of all things? It was this screen that didnt sit well with me though...



Its awful. A deliberately blurred figure, probably done by some amateur in photoshop. Is it even a character? Its too distorted to look like anything.

I could picture this being an early test sample of From's work. Not many studios put so much effort into the environment like the tomb stones stacked of to the side and the spiked bottom of the portcullis being bent. The blurred screen shot does look suspicious, but the blur could be a 'getting hit' effect since it looks like the creature is getting attacked. A later screen shot shows a similar 'bloody blur' that looks like it's being dissolved and absorbed into another creature.

Trust me John I would really hope that it is a next DS game. Now you mention it, the character in the blurred screenshot could be transforming or performing a whirlwind attack along the red path line. That red path graphic appears in another shot, so it could be that you can path out a frenzy-like attack.

I wonder who leaked these screen shots? I think they got pulled down quickly so it probably wasn't authorized by Fromsoft.

Nothing got spoiled and Project Beast was an intriguing teaser that was confirmed with Bloodborne's debut.

Whoever leaked it probably had decent intentions, assuming the leak itself wasn't orchestrated by From ?_?
