GAME.EXE Crashing Error

I can second John here. PROJECT.DAT needs to be replaced each time you update.

Good news, we sort of managed to get it working. I set up a shared folder through dropbox and am letting my friend play the game from the dropbox folder itself. My guess is that administrator privileges were preventing the .exe file from running, as I had a similar problem with another .exe file today that I solved by checking run as administrator in properties. He did the same though and it still didn't work. He also says that he doesn't even have an antivirus, so that can't be it. Anyway, he can at least play it now, it seems the dropbox folder bypasses any administrator privileges.

If anybody knows how to completely disable these dumb administrator privileges on Windows 8, let me know. Even after searching for hours, I still can't find a way to disable them.

I know a way...but it involves a 12lb sledgehammer ‎  Smash2 hee hee. ‎ 

Actually, I have no clue, but it's great that you figured it out! If you get a fix narrowed down, please post for others ‎  Wink
