Some KF2(US) questions

#1
I want to truely beat the game 100% so if anyone could answer my questions that would be great.

Question #1. My strength is well above 50 and no matter how often I talk to Lord Veyrac he never teaches me the sword magics. How do I learn them?

Question #2. I've gotten the Triple Fang but the blade is only one part. (it shows it as 3 parts on kings-field.neocities.org) Is there a way to unlock it or something?
Yeah, I'm still around. I haven't much to say anymore however I do lurk around here. Ninja

I believe 50 str is required but in addition I believe you also need to travel all the way to Garan and come back. ‎  Dont go to the hill of prayer, if you do Veyrac will be toast.

Find Lynn's body, then go back to veyrac and see if that works ;)

For your second question...there is no unlock that makes the triple fang have 'three blades' while equipped. ‎  When you learn the sword magic from alexander near the end of the game pressing the button combination of X, Square, Triangle will have Lyle swing the sword out to cast its triple light magic, at that point it will split into its 3 pieces, but thats it.

In KFJ and KF4 the triple fang appeared only as three blades, which quite honestly looks dumb compared to the single blade that splits with magic like it is in KF2. ‎  I mean really, who is going to swing a sword shaped like that, and how exactly would you sheath it? ‎  Anyways, thats all there is to having the three blades in KF2.

Check your magic power, I think it has to be 50 also. Make sure you're not wearing anything that will enhance your power or magic.

Please let me know if magic has anything to do with it, as I need to update that piece of information.

I'm unsure what they're called, but I'm pretty sure 3 bladed knives and swords like the "triple fang" were popular and served a useful function for whoever carried them.

Funny though, I specifically recall finding the tri-fang in "KF2" and I remember it clearly having 3 blades. Guess my memory is messed up, but I definitely remember the location. I guess there isn't one in the first US KF then??

The 'tri-blade' appeared in KFJ, KF3 and KF4. ‎  Melanat was the only one without it. ‎  Im not certain where Martin got his screen shot of the triple fang spread apart in his KF2 equipment list, but it most definitely did not look like that without using the magic.

Thanks for the help with the triple fang everyone. I thought I was missing something. Anyway, I'm going to check on my magic power and see what that is. So far I've done everything you can without going to the hill of prayer. I've even got the Ichrius' armor, Ichrius' key and Fairy fossil. If there is anything else important I'm missing, please tell me.

Hmmm....magic power?

KF1 had a generic magic power stat, but I thought KF 2 seperated them into all the elements? ‎  To have a 'magic power' of 50 or above you would I guess have to have one in all categories above 50.

Im more inclined to think its level based rather than magic stat based.

What level are you right now?

That should be high enough to learn the magic from Veyrac.

Im at a loss as to why you do not have it yet, maybe I will play through it again sometime soon and try to figure it out.
