Just found one of the rare letter openers for sale on a Japan auction site. Unfortunately, the listing doesn't say anything about the collectible's history, but it's interesting to see it came in a box. Cool, but crazy price!!

  Dark Souls Maps Redone in SOM

  Door Edits Request

Hello all, I'm in dire need of smaller versions of SOM's own secret doors and jail cell door to fit 2x2 (1 tile wide) doorways. To be clear, SOM by default comes with secret doors for tile sets 1-1 through 1-5 and 4-1 through 4-5 (the blue and purple sets), but they are two tiles wide. All I need is for them to be shortened to one tile wide while still matching their respective textures when placed in doorways. Also, like I said before, I need the same thing for the barred jail door if possible. Thanks in advanced to anyone that can help me. Smile

On Hold

This project is currently being put on hold until Verdite finishes his SOM game, Rathmor, this Summer. In the meantime, I'll be starting a little spring side-project to touch up on my new 3D modeling skills. Wink

Solitary Region

Lots of items and enemies have been added to the game, with which, I've brought life into the Solitary Region. Slimes, dark spiders, and skeletons await; see for yourselves in this short gameplay clip:

First Screenshots

I've just finished remaking all 29 of Shadow Tower's maps, hurrah! There are a few changes here and there to keep within the limitations of SOM, but all of the maps look very close to the original game thanks to some very tedious tile counting.

To celebrate, here are some of the game's first few screenshots.

  Is is possible to add new spells?

There isn't much info on that around here and I've personally never seen it done before. The main reason I ask is because I had gotten a great idea for a new spell. I was looking at the On Target (2) Earth Dragon spell and I thought it'd be neat to make a similar spell but rather then a dragon's head, jagged stone spikes would erupt from the ground.

i found the dark crystals from the big praying mantis near the atainius lagoon and the one given by jonas's dragon mount but i dont know were the third one is and i cant pass the copper knight infront of the magical cave of fire

I'm looking for a game like wizardry 7:
-Third person
-Labirynth
-Random npcs/boss (you can encounter a boss or npc when you less expect)
-lots of classes and skills
-huge map

I know all wizardrys 1-8 and the wizardry of ps2. In a close future I go buy a ps3 and play his wizardry.

So I've been getting items ready and thinking about gameplay, story, ect. and I've come up with a few ideas. While I could easily make my game without them, they'd still be nice to have. It never hurts to ask. Movingeyes


A pile of gold coins (to replace the default single coin)

Some magic rods/wands/staves (I could likely make these myself however I'm not very good at it. At some point I'll attempt to make some myself anyway.)

An NPC book. When you "speak" with it the book opens up and closes when finished "speaking".

Breakable crates and barrels similar to KF:TAC. This would likely be a 2 part object. The lower part would be an actual object while the top part could be an npc or enemy.

A chest object in a shape of a stone coffin with a skeletal corpse inside. Grave robbing seems to be fairly popular in the KF games and this sounded like a neat little idea.

The phantom crown as an equipable helmet. I lack the skills to recreate it myself. I've also got no idea how to rip models from psx disks.

Some magic robes as an armor set.

Got quite a few up and I post new videos every day or almost every day.

Will I get 100%? ‎  I dunno. ‎  I will try to get close at least if nothing else though.

In any case, if I miss something, leave a comment on my videos or post here and I can take care of that when I do my next recording session. ‎  There's only so much I can do searching every single wall on the off chance there's a secret hidden there or not...or even if I missed a key item of some kind (Would REALLY like to get my hands on Harvine's Key sometime this century, heh).

  Equipment Weight Limit

I'm going to assume it's based on strength but dose anyone know how much max weight is given per point in strength?

Rather then the traditional level up system I'm planning on letting the player choose between the strength or magic stats. I feel this would make the players think about the equipment they use rather then simply wearing whatever is the strongest armor is. They can pick strength and be able to use heavier weapons and better armor while picking magic would allow for ranged attacks but having lower equipment weight.
