KF3Jap is up. Added some to the SoM page (link in top post). If anyone wants to add, edit, butcher etc- feel free! ‎  Biggrin

If you have some time to kill some day Guyra, I'm curious what the CRC on KF2Jap PSBooks version is. I've heard that there are two different versions of the KF2Jap TheBest (different CRCs), but I wonder if the second type was just PSBooks.

Most likely, as it's basically the successor to The Best. But I'll see if I can get some CRC checking done today. :)

Edit: The PSOne Books rerelease has a different CRC than the others. Also added the KF3 The Best CRC.

Quick question: My copy of KF(US) jewel case doesn't have any front insert - only the manual. Is this the standard for this variant, or is my copy incomplete?

Thank you for checking the CRC ‎  Biggrin
It looks like there may be another 'data' variant for KF 2(Jap)!
I looked into it a little and found there's a text document called 'COPY.TXT' on the disks that lists the version number.
Original release was v1.0, ‎  a rarer 'The Best' release that is v1.8A and the common 'The Best' is 1.8B.
Probably just a bug fix or something. Not the most amazing find, but still a little interesting!

Added a pic of KF3 PSOne Books I found as a temporary solution as I don't have that variant.

Added some more stuff to the collectibles page.
Also started a trivia section which might be of greater general interest. If anyone has fun trivia on the series feel free to add.

Great! Now I'll never look at antidote herbs the same way again! :P

Hehehe! Good work, man! And if I'm not mistaken, KFII was the first RPG outside of Japan. Correct me if I'm wrong, though. :)

I agree, I think I'll burst out laughing every time I see one now!

I never knew Tom had a character named after him. Thats really neat. On the same topic, I think someone should add shreenshots of each character. I don't know how to do that on a ps2 or anything so I'll leave that to someone else. just an idea...

EDIT: Oh, I just remembered this: In KF:TAC, The sign David Bunch is scrubbing says this: Ecno Erom Thgilnoom Drows Gniws
The lettering is backwards and when corrected it says: Once More Moonlight Sword Swing
Yeah, I'm still around. I haven't much to say anymore however I do lurk around here. Ninja

Pictures would be great. I've searched for TAC character pictures online and never found anything, but now that there is a working emulator for PS2, screenshots are much easier. Next time I play throught TAC, I'll try to catalog people/enemies. The backwards sign is fun; want to add it?

Guyra, I had always heard that Beyond the Beyond was the first US RPG, but KF(US) 12/31/95 and Beyond was out on 08/31/96 so you may be right!
