Okay, i got this.
Firstly, when you save this file or re-save it, do so as a 24bit bmp image. Any other format cannot be read.
Secondly, make sure the file path is correct. The texure needs to be in the meta texture folder and the tools folder or wherever x2mdo is located. Im pretty sure you can direct to the x2mdo location's texture file too but im not 100% on that.
So if your image is 24bit and bmp, and your directory is correct, then your image size is wrong. I'm not sure about the other multiples that work with SoM but 256x256 is a definate
dont worry when it comes to extra kb in textures.
I'll check the texture file out now for ya. GIMP supports 24bit saving as an option. Why people here dont use GIMP is a mystery to me :)
