Finding new objects and map peices |

Hey everyone! I am new to the Sword of Moonlight community and I am very excited about having the chance to craft my own Kings Field game! I am a bit disappointed, however, with the limited scope of map pieces and objects available with the initial download. Is there a way I can get more without having to learn to model my own? I have searched forum to some extent by I have only been able to find the occasional object here and there. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

I dont know if anyone still actually posts or monitors this place but I have some problems with SoM's Kings Field that I cant find help for anywhere else
Whenever I launch Kings Field (the SoM remake) the game launches, goes to a black screen and then stops responding.
I tried other games such as Dark Destiny and that game runs fine, but I've yet to successfully get Kings Field to run. If anyone is still around here and could help me, it'd be much appreciated.

An idea for a FROM Software RPG retrospective video series. |

Hello all!
So just to introduce myself before I talk about my rad idea for a little video series on YouTube, I wanted to give a quick backstory as to who I am and why I want to do this. I'm a guy from California, and I seriously love the King's Field series, it's probably my all time favorite video game IP's and it's one that I deeply respect as much as everyone on this humble forum does. I love the lore, I love the small but insanely dedicated and passionate community, I love the dense gameplay, I love the art designs, everything about King's Field I absolutely adore, and just now I've been tempted to make this idea for a video series a reality.
Whenever I see a YouTube video review on a FROM Software RPG pre-Demon's Souls, it's almost always extremely cringe worthy. Most of the time people aren't aware of the backstory of how these games were released, and many overlook the fact at how incredibly ambitious these games were on the PlayStation, something that really got to me to be a fan of this franchise. So, I felt that a respectful video series that goes into very deep details on how the game was released, when it was released, how it compared to sequels, how they were different from the original Japanese releases, etc.
A lot of the cold hard facts will probably come from this extremely helpful written retrospective; though most of it is pretty obvious; https://www.hardcoregaming101.net/kingsfield/kf01.htm
I want to look at every first person RPG that FROM Software has made, including Shadow Tower, Eternal Ring, and Shadow Tower: Abyss, as well as Sword of Moonlight and King's Field Pilot Style (what an awesome name!). Videos will be released in chronological order, so starting with King's Field and ending with Shadow Tower: Abyss. Maybe I'd do an extra review for King's Field Additional; whatever. Of course I'd also give my opinions on the game themselves, which are all pretty diverse. The original King's Field II is one of my favorite games of all time, it's exceptional at pretty much everything it does. King's Field III on the other hand, was a really over ambitious mess. Stuff like that I 'd go into detail about and why I have these thoughts, but for now I'm just throwing them out to you, fellow Fielders.
Now to conclude this hypothetical vision, I want to reiterate who I am a little more. I'm a YouTuber who makes videos on video games, not just King's Field, and I have more than 1,500 active subscribers, not a lot of course, but enough to potentially get the word out to some more folks. I'm deeply passionate about these games, and I think it's high time someone did a respectful, in depth love letter in video format.
Hope to those reading this find some amusement out of this idea. If I go through with it, I'll definitely link them in here!

King's Field Side-scroller? Yay or Nay? |

Hello all! I've been a lurker here for a little while but just recently registered; and in the past few days, I've been working on an idea that I wanted to run by the KF fan community:
King's Field as a side-scroller, along the lines of Castlevania.
I do pixel art, and was thinking of trying to make a game that would tie together aspects of the whole King's Field series (from the 1st Japanese release, up to The Ancient City), while featuring some things from Shadow Tower, and the Demon/Dark Souls series as well! I think something like this is long overdue, as all of these games essentially share the same universe (in my head, anyways~).
A few things I'd feature:
-A hybrid stamina/power gauge system where you will get fatigued as energy depletes; no wildly slashing with reckless abandon, as it will get you killed
-Dodging and blocking, ala Dark Souls; being on a 2D plane would make mastering these essential
-A level-less, class-less advancement system, much like Shadow Tower's
-Many deadly enemies and traps, pitfalls, and other dangers to keep you dead, often.
I have more ideas as well, but these are a few to give you guys a peek; I guess what I'm really wondering is, does any of this sound interesting to anyone...? I know a big draw of the King's Field series has been the first-person perspective, and losing that obviously changes the game rather drastically. But I think that the same atmosphere and setting can be achieved, even with simplistic, 2D graphics; and I'm hoping (with the assistance of a good programmer; I kind of have one, but the guy is always busy... -_-) I can be the person to do that.
In closing (and apologies for such a long first post, hehe), I'll leave you guys with a Headeater animation I made the other day; he's rather tiny at his original size of 32x32 pixels, so I blew him up a bit - hope you guys like it!

Can't seem to find the translated copy of this anywhere anymore. Recently went back to digging through the lore trying to tie some things up (don't ask, KF ties to souls, etc etc, I'm sure everyone can relate) and between unable to find a working or cheap copy of KF:TAC or the Chronicles anymore, its turning into a big blank spot in the middle for me.
I figure if anyone in the world can help me, its you guys!
edit: Found my copy of TAC, woo. Still would really love the translated Chronicles though if anyone still has them, as I think it'll fill in some of the gaps in the before and after of the original trilogy.

Has anyone been trying to mod Brigandine GE? I saw one of the guy did a grand battle mod and it did boost up the difficulty of the game. I'm looking for mods that create new characters, new classes, increases the level limit up to 40, more spells, etc.... I really like this game and I got back to it when I saw the translation patch in the forum (really appreciate the work you guys have done). This game is like my childhood, unfortunately there is no sequel to it but I know somebody are capable of making mods and I am willingly to donate in order to help with the production.
