HERE is the v2 patch for adding fully English voice acting to movies. May be applied over any other patch. A huge thanks to the voice artists who donated their work to make this project happen. Version 2 fixes an issue that was preventing the endgame credits from displaying properly.

Actors:
Asmit: Jason Start
Bagdemagus: Kevin Butler
Brangien: Julie Collins
Bulnoil: Cary Reese
Cador: Chris Dattoli
Cai: Daniel Bernardo
Camden: Daniel Bernardo
Coel: Jim Barr
Dinadan: Kevin Powe
Dryst: Eric Valdes
Esmeree: Erin Macdonald
Gereint: James Dooley ([email protected])
Guinglain: Caleb Rutherford
Halley: Erin Macdonald
Iria: Allegra Scott
Kiloph: Bradley Smith
Lance: Jason Start
Lyonesse: Julie Collins
Merriot: Kathleen Burns
Millet: ‎  Noelle
Millia: Candace Zingalie
Mira: ‎  Noelle
Palomides: Ray Jernigan
Paternus: Chris Dattoli
Ulster: Ray Jernigan
Vaynard: Phillip Galfus
Yvain: Daniel Bernardo
Zemeckis: Chris Dattoli

Translation (attached) updated to version 8. ‎  Fixes missing line-break in Millet's post-Esgares defeat description. Must be applied to an untouched ‎  disk image.

The Grand Battle patch (attached) is a mod that makes umm... grand battles. It takes a few rounds to build up steam and works progressively as time goes on. Works on any disk image.

HERE is a link to one of the coolest Brigandine art threads around courtesy of Leland3 on gamevn.com

HERE is v2 updated patch for subtitled movies. It adds subtitles to a movie that was missed in the first version. This was done upon request, but the quality is fairly low for several technical reasons not worth going into.

  Version 2
Posted by: Verdite - 2014-12-24, 12:14 PM - Forum: Moratheia - Replies (40)

*Brushes off the cobwebs*

I know I haven't updated anything on my board for a while, I simply haven't had time to do anything outside of my graphic design project which seems to suck up a ton of my spare time, which has included learning a new 3D program from ground level to expert, and a new pro level external program. Anyway I shouldn't go into that too much.

When possible I have been able to work on fixing up Moratheia and adding extra content.

Version 2 should be released on the 28th or 29th.

Finalised changes to the game include...

- 4 new levels, bumping the level count up to 40
- completely simplified the intro and story to be less convoluted and easier to follow
- adjusted monster difficulty, now the game is more accessible to non-KF/SOM gamers
- adjusted save point difficulty
- a lot of new curatives
- removed multiple swing types, now you only get 1 type of attack per weapon
- added skeletons, archers, trolls, and a dragon like enemy
- new Eldyte crystals allow you to form equipment or abilities
- signposts
- updated 2d maps
- new BGM, more upbeat tracks for Calethan town and meera
- texture rehaul on most maps, making the game look way better. I've deviated from the SoM art style deliberately
- more lore, covering characters and past races of Pelmora
- more weapons
- lighting overhaul, more use of lamps
- draw distance has been increased a lot in levels
- blacksmith quests

I got a quadcore laptop with my mad Black Friday skills and I'm going to try my hand at getting this to work on a touchscreen system...

How to tell KF1 SOM edition from standard KF1 fan translation?
Posted by: doctommaso - 2014-12-03, 05:13 AM - Forum: SOM Games General - Replies (11)

My friend gave me the PSP eboot of what he thinks is KF1 SOM, but it just says "KF1PSP". ‎  Anyway to tell from start up if the game is the SOM edition or simply the fan translation of the Japanese KF1?

  Indies VS PewDiePie
Posted by: JC Bailey - 2014-11-09, 12:15 PM - Forum: Game Chat - Replies (9)

So I'm gearing up to participate in GameJolt's game jam contest. If you didn't know, a game jam is where indie developers gather (in this case online) to make games in a short period of time, and in this case, it runs from Nov 21-24 (72 hours). The theme for this specific contest is "fun to play, fun to watch, with an emphasis on humor". The top 10 winners get to have their games "let's played" on PewDiePie's channel, and in case you didn't know, he has around 35 million subscribers.

That said, I'm already making plans for my own game for this contest. What I have in mind is an 8-bit RPG Maker game that parodies the Final Fantasy series; I'll call it Final Fantasy: Blood Dragon. Expect to see lots of 80s machismo and punny one-liners. I have the know-how to make the resources for this project, but if anybody would like to help in some way, let me know. I'd be able to get a lot more done in such a short period of time if I had some help.

Until the contest starts, I'll play some of the FF games for research. Wish me luck! Cool

  FSTimView Release
Posted by: StolenBattenberg - 2014-10-27, 04:38 PM - Forum: Tools - Replies (10)

Hey,

It's been a while, I've been busy with multiple project, same stuff as always.

I don't come without something though, even though it's a very small percentage of what I still have to do.

This is a very small utility for looking into the .T files on early FromSoftware games. Currently it will only display FSTim, but that's soon to change.
Now I'm not gonna actually say what I'll be providing in the eventual version, because that's normally where I go wrong. I'll promise awesome stuff, but won't deliver on everything.

But, what it currently supports is this:
- (partial) reading of .T archives.
- Reading and display of .FSTim with optional zooming. (4BPP only.)
- Exporting of .FSTim to .PNG
- Easy to use UI

Here's a download for this version. It should make it a little easier to get the files you want, rather than extracting the whole .T archives.
Download (1.87MB): Mediafire,

Now that's over, I figured I should probably say that this might be the last post I make related to King's Field tools here. I always felt kinda crappy posting KF in the Sword of Moonlight forums, but honestly, there's no where else to post about King's Field. Agetec boards maybe?.. If I have the time, and get the money, I'll probably make a website dedicated to the hacking of King's Field (though that's unlikely).

Report any bugs with the application to me, and I'll fix them. I fixed as many as I could, but there's always one that gets through. :)
